i made a rating for the Teenage Dream tracks, if yall are interested, don't go too harsh on me.
1-
Teenage Dream : 9/10 truly a well-crafted classic, never gets old. Also one of her best choruses.
2-
Last Friday Night: 9/10, it’s like part 2 of Waking Up In Vegas, but way much better.
3-
California Gurls: 8/10, this song brings me so much memories, since its initial release, I couldn't stop replaying it, it was so goddamn catchy, and the video was really awesome, I was slayed. Now it feels a bit dated, I don’t listen to it as much, so the rating is only out of nostalgia.
4-
Firework: 8/10 another timeless anthem; ugh 2010/11 was such a perfect time.
5-
Peacock: 6/10 “
come on baby let me see, what chu hiding, underneath” is the only cute part of the song aside from the chorus, overall it’s pretty bad and drags for soo long, I guess it’s fine for what it is, a mindless fun pop song. (I know, it’s a pretty pretentious statement, sorry cats), though I strongly believe that without this song, the album would’ve got a 60+ on metacritic. Don’t at me.
6-
Circle The Drain: 7/10, I love Katy’s angry tracks, while not as good as the OOTB’s counterparts, it’s pretty effective.
7-
The One That Got Away: 8/10, love the lyrics, the music video is one of her best, she’s like a master of catchy memorable choruses, shame it didn’t go number one, cause it’s absolutely deserving.
8-
ET: 8/10 her alone, 5/10 with the Kayne feature

, he was so useless and ruined my enjoyment of the song.
9-
Who Am I Living For: 5/10 filler material,

her metaphors and vague expressions about heaven and war are a bit cringy, shame because I used to like it, I guess it’s the effect of Alicia Keys’s Girl On Fire, these empowerment anthems are so bad and stereotypical they somehow ruined my enjoyment of the song but anyway….. It also feels dated and unfinished.
10-
Pearl: Same as Who Am I Living For 5/10

, hey, if it’s empowering someone, good for him/her, i don’t relate to it.
11-
Hummingbird Heartbeat: 6/10, aside from the tragic lyrics it’s enjoyable
12-
Not Like The Movies: 9/10, What a beautiful romantic ballad

, I love it. It’s euphoric and dreamy ugh….. Truly the saving grace from the preceding boring tracks, she knows how to choose her closing tracks.
13-
Part Of Me: 7/10, I remember being so angry at the music video being so bland and uninventive, after a strike of memorable videos, I was fuming. But I like the song.
14-
Wide Awake: 8/10, Thankfully she redeemed herself with the perfect closure for the era’s videography, from the lyrics video to the main one (well will Birthday?) Way better than Pearl and the other one.
15-
Dressin’ up: 4/10 tragic song, tragic lyrics, overproduced, and the demo is a bit better, never cared much about it.
