Next. I'm not trying to sound mean, but sometimes I feel like you are sadly misinformed. When Trump was catching up, the media jumped on it without acknowledging the fact that the polls (only like 2) disproportionally surveyed more whites than minorities. And also didn't take into account that Hillary was still battling a primary.

Hillary's lead is bigger during a divided primary so that says much right there, and Hillary has the math and electoral map and demographics on her side. Trump does not. And I rarely see the media talking about that because they want this election to seem closer than what we all know it really is and will be.

I was simply saying "Democrats" overrate Elizabeth Warren the same way "Republicans" overrate John Kasich and when it was time for Kasich to show his power and importance that the Republicans are constantly praising him for he got demolished by 2 dislike Republicans. I'm not comparing their political career I was just saying we shouldn't risk a Kasich situation happening with Warren in the General Election..lets be honest here both are severly overrated by THEIR party..

The VP should be someone who 1) is ready to be POTUS at any giving moment 2)has the views she and the party aligns with 3)can compliment Hillary. That is what really matters. Not who can get a few more votes in swing states or look good for a certain group or try to appeal to SEXIST and RACIST people.

She's qualified, has a respectable relationship with Hillary, and has and will not back down to Trump. That is enough reasons right there.

I'm not 100% on board with her being the pick, but there is simply no argument other than wanting to appeal to white sexist men (mainly Republicans who won't vote for her anyway) that justifies her being a bad pick IMO.

Hillary supporters don't like to acknowledge that her unfavorable rating is thru the roof and her favorability rating among white men is around 30% with Elizabeth Waren on a VP ticket the unfavorable will sky rocket among white men... It's not racist or sexist it's common sense

But these people who worked with him, but not anymore, has no reason to lie especially when Obama and Biden are almost good and done with politics forever.

I don't think a white male VP pick is necessarily going to improve her numbers in that demographic at all. They don't like HER. She's going to be a the top of the ticket and that's not going to change because of a white male VP pick. The white male vote is not like the AA or Hispanic vote. Republicans are already offering white males on their ticket. Usually adding a minority to the ticket increases voting from that demographic because they're usually the only minority on the ticket.

And the people who won't vote for two women on a ticket (especially two qualified, intelligent women) are likely the same people who won't vote for a ticket with even one woman on it, especially if that woman is leading the ticket.

Also I don't think people realize how the 2008 election normalized the idea of a woman being president with Hillary in the primaries and **swallows hard** Sarah Palin on the GE ticket (or even our country electing someone other than a white male with Obama). Hillary being the first female presidential nominee didn't even hit me until last night. It's just felt normal to me this whole time and that's because of 2008.

I haven't delved into the views and compability component yet, but since people want to really win based on demographics, etc. right now I would say

Elizabeth Warren (two-female ticket, progressive, smart, won't back down to Trump)

Tim Kaine (white male, great relationship with Hillary, safe state of Virginia)

Chris Murphy (white male, 42 years old. He was the youngest in the Senate until his term ended last year. He's from safe Conn. and can be the young fresh face to get millennials out who may run for POTUS in 2024)

EDIT: Sorry. He IS STILL a Senator and the youngest DEMOCRAT up until 2015 when a Republican came in.

It's currently 47 to 39. This is a myth.

I need to look into everyone except Warren. She does seem to be the most popular suggestion, but for some reason, I'm hesitant.
