No, that doesn't make sense honestly. She wouldn't say she needs to put out music or her fans will kill her at the beginning of a year, confirm a 2016 release at the GOLDEN GLOBES, and then push back the album to the next year with no word except from Elton John we're getting the single this Summer, album sometime in Q3.

people still think she can just throw out an album whenever she wants? there's so much stuff that goes into not just putting an album together, but putting a campaign together. she can't just release whenever there's "no competition" if things aren't done and set in stone. you guys want her to rush and release the album, which will only result in another artpop.

also, some of you are going to have to accept that katy will sell more. she will. fact. her music is made with the sole purpose of appealing to as many people as possible and selling as much as possible. gaga doesn't operate under that mindset so her chances of "smashing" are a lot less. she could still smash if the songs are good enough, but don't get your hopes up or you'll be hugely disappointed.

I'm confused? When did I say she was pushing anything back? Besides we could still get the album anywhere from September to December. My expectations are august single/Fall lead not what she said in some flakey interview where she was discussing how hard it was to perform Tihty.

This would be such an ideal schedule. The album could be released in the early weeks of October.

But it's so obvious now she's going to wait till October for that Grammy deadline and she'll probably be debuting her lead or her second single at the ceremony as well. I made my peace with it.

what is he doing while she is in the studio? obviously planing the era and advising her when to release the album would be best.

of course they won't rush but it's not like it would be a rush to release the album now.

Honestly I think many of us just assumed she was ready last year to release earlier this year. No one wants to admit that she may just not have had enough great material to release then. Why is that such a big deal to admit? In fact, that's more believable than stories of her scrapping loads of material to run off to mark Ronson. So she took some extra time to work on the album..... Okay? Who else cares besides us? She'll release it when she's ready.

i think some of us are just fed up cause she hasn't only been focusing on the album.

she went on tour with tony, then did ahs for almost half a year, then did that v magazine thing that took a lot of work for her, then she focused on tihty.....and surely more stuff.....so it seems like she put lg5 aside for several months and now we are just hungry. and it seems like the cycle will repeat itself. another jazz album, more ahs shooting, maybe vegas...

i know in the end it will be worth it and i dont want her to be rushed but i'm just impatient, that's all honestly.

In the history of her whole career post TF. She's never focused on an album without any side projects. Shes always had a tour in the way or some other promotional aspect that she was focusing on. Y'all are just greedy and want it now rather than when it's ready. You should be looking at all the other time she's having on screen as time to enjoy her presence. The only reason she's so quiet now is because she's working on music and has just started filming again for AHS. It's not like they don't work her schedule out in advanced.

It won't affect her music schedule. I'm sure they have it figured out, and AHS will shoot around whatever Gaga has planned.

Well, she's no longer just a pop star. She wants to be an all-around entertainer so that when pop music fizzles out, she'll have something to fall back on. It's just how things are now.

Yes, she has Bobby now, which is exactly why she's able to take her time.

And it would be a rush to release the album now since, you know, it's not finished lol.

But yeah, she is planning the era and meeting with the label to lock things down.
