He's going to Philly alright, just not as a candidate but rather to fight for his platform. You could sort of see that's what he was saying in his speech.
I'm seeing this too but him refusing to do anything when his crowd was booing the presumptive nominee of the party is very troubling. At least he said positive things about her and did not attack her but he that shouldn't have happened.
He spoke only kind things about Hillary. He talked that the struggle isn't just him. He mentioned that we can't let Donald Trump win in November.
So what if he fights until DC? He's ALWAYS been about letting everyone get their vote. He'll have a talk with Obama on Thursday, and he'll give a speech Tuesday night after Hillary wins DC that he concedes, or give it in a press release that Wednesday morning.
He said he's going to take it to the convention as well.
He is not going to. He isn't stupid. I almost feel bad for him, because he doesn't want to let his delusional crowds down. Imagine telling thousands of low-income students with large amounts of debt that you won't be able to help them after telling them hundreds of times that you would. It really sucks.
Hillary NEVER let her supporters boo Obama like that in 2008.
Hillary NEVER let her supporters boo Bernie.
**** Bernie. **** his supporters. If we lose this general election, I will be just fine and dandy as a privileged white male, but there's a small vindictive part of me that hopes they hurt for their stupidity in not helping vote against Trump.
What you guys don't understand is that now Bernie is the face of the progressive movement. Get over it.
Just like Nader was in 2000 and look how much impact (or lack thereof) it had. In fact, it probably set the progressive movement back even further. Bernie is taking the same path. History always repeats itself I guess.
What you guys don't understand is that now Bernie is the face of the progressive movement. Get over it.
No he's not and YOU do not speak for US, the REST of the progressive movement that chose Hillary Clinton and that will see Elizabeth Warren on a major ticket if news reports have been accurate. There's nothing to get over.
