And she called ARTPOP her "first real album" and "TFM's little sister" when promoting it. But at least their words from her mouth and not you putting words into hers.

And I'm pretty sure she was talking about the schedule, touring, etc... that eventually broke her hip which is what she discussed, that doesn't relate to album's creative process or quality of the music she put out.

Go listen to her interview with Diane Warren and some other lady back in January 2016 It's coming from HER MOUTH. She even referred to them as her "GOLDS" and even Gagadaily had a meltdown when she said that

Usually during the eras. I just think its strange that in 2016 she praises The Fame and The Fame Monster and leaves born this way and artpop in the dust. I wouldn't even be surprised if she likes cheek to cheek more than those albums.

gaga is super critical of her work. in that one diane interview she said she sometimes works on a song for over a year. but she is never satisfied and never feels it's finished.

i guess before doing a new album she looks back at the latest one and finds all the errors in her mind and tries to be better. that's why probably right now she isn't super happy with artpop but maybe has enough distance to appreciate i.e. the fame more.

To a lot of her younger fans yeah I think it is. Lady Gaga just prefers her earlier work but I do think LG5 might GENUINELY be her favorite album and her best work since the label wont be as restrictive as they were during born this way and artpop. I love all her albums but I only enjoy 1/4 of artpop.

I'm 23 though.

That's very true actually. I even remember on Howard Stern 2011 she said she wish she would have added the Rumbles on Highway Unicorn and in JoJo Radio 2013 she said she would listen to born this way and laugh at how "messed"up it is but little did she know artpop would be less better than born this way

she maybe prefered the recording sessions cause there was not a lot of pressure.

redone recently said the same. it was much easier to record the fame (monster) than btw.

that doesn't mean she prefers those albums.

i guess its a good thing cause i feel like she has detached herself completely from chasing the latest trend and tries to find "her" sound.

Link and actual quotes from the interview? Just because she discussed TF doesn't mean she hates BTW.

And kii at you thinking her label / manager was "restrictive" during BTW and gave her full control over TF. Nnn.

remember when mrs. perry tried to sabotage gaga's oscar?

and how quickly bobby dismissed those writing claims?

i believe in him.

Tried? Did Gaga win the Oscar?

I never said she hated born this way though

Here's the link of the interview though. The original is 1 hour and 20 minutes but I can only find the 50 minute one. Not sure of the timestamp but its a good interview nevertheless.

Perched to see the sabotage of Gaga's music on Spotify due to Troy Carter joining them. I was hoping she'd actually be pushed on Spotify to get a streaming hit with her songs being first on huge playlists, her being the featured artists on banners, guess DJing on playlists, etc... but guess not. She'll remain irrelevant in streaming. She'll never have a hit again.

ellen degeneres has more followers than gaga

Her doing a Vegas residency so young isn't a hurtful rumor?

No. Only stans think this.

No one views residencies as bad because there's no reason to. And the main reason older acts are usually the ones to do them is because it's easier for them since they have families and other things to deal with.

And even if Gaga did a residency, it would be like Roseland.

This literally makes no sense. He won't be the only person running the company.

Honestly I would be disappointed if Sam Smith is on LG5. I never liked his voice. I would rather have Elton John on LG5 than Sam.

[Bang Up]

Troy's job at Spotify is to help pull in artists for exclusive content. He'll have no say in whether or not Gaga gets to be on Spotify. It's been clear since Apple started their service that Gaga would exclusively team up with them. As long as her music is on Spotify, she's fine.

absolutely NO to sam smith. and a small no to Elton.

i'd rather have bruno mars. mark make it happen.

YES! Bruno Mars is queen tbh. Him and Gaga are PERFECT for each other. Mark Ronson better make it happen

Me too.

If it's a Tony / Gaga residency, I don't see what's the problem.

Even ifs a solo residency, who cares. As Bang Up said, it's not gonna be a 2-year-residency. It's great. She's not losing anything either way.

Re: residency

In fact, she'll only continue to expand her demographic. A win.
