And yeah I wish WDYLM was on the album! Another uptempo track would have worked brilliantly. I think somewhere near the end or beginning of 25 would have worked nicely! CLG could also be on the album, but did she perhaps not include it because its super raw for her? |
OMG, that was a great day! I remember I had to study for a huge test and I couldn't focus at all because of Adele and then I got the PM with "Hello" and I was like, "F**K THIS TEST! ADELE IS MORE IMPORTANT!" and then I was an emotional wreck over Adele.
I know... I've missed him! I hope he's okay, too!
Yeah, that would be great. I think "Why Do You Love Me" is SO underrated, and I really hope she performs it on tour once. As for "Can't Let Go," I feel like it was a combination of that and it being too different thematically. It would've fit
21 a lot better, but it's so beautiful that I honestly don't care.

I imagine she has a lot of great stuff that went unused for this album that could work for the next one. It comes off to me that she experimented on the album (with Damon Albarn, etc) but got nervous about how people would respond to it and wrote songs more in the vein of 21 to be safe. Of course I'm just assuming.  So hopefully she has somewhere to start with the next album. |
Is there a link of her talking about this? I seriously need to keep up with the Periscopes and stuff.... And yeah, I agree. I know she said that every album she'll ever release will follow up
21, but I'm hoping that now that she's put one out and people responded to it so well, she'll feel more confident and have less pressure and fear this time around.
I don't think it will be a 5 year wait this time, maybe a 3 to 4??
