A girl is believed in mortal peril. A girl bleeds in the street. A girl is seen in previews leaping from a building like Assassin’s Creed. A girl must take revenge against a waif.
Arya's damn lucky her plot armor only let her get gutted. I mean. Stab to the heart: Dead. Slit throat: Dead. Why the hell did a trained assassin strike the one area of the body, the gut, where a person can actually survive for a time.
If I remember correctly, Jaqen told the Waif not to let Arya suffer, but clearly the Waif was relishing causing Arya pain. So she wanted to prolong it, savor it, and it will come back to bite her in the ass. The Waif is supposed to be "No One", not so much.
Anyone feel like it's really lazy writing to keep Arya in Bravos for another few episodes? She's on the run from assassins who literally have a vault of faces and years of training, she should be stowing away on a ship not brazenly throwing bags of silver about. She should be treating every single person who shows her a modicum of interest with deathly suspicion. She should be using the training she received over the course of the last 16 episodes. But no she lets her guard down and gets gutted, and to show how lazy the writing is the preview has her leaping through the streets instead of bleeding out or looking for some sort of maester/healer.
Except if she finds a friend who has a magic way for her to heal quickly, I don't see how she can beat The Waif in the next episode. I'm not worried about Jaqen tbh, I think he's as much on Arya's side as he is on The Waif. He knows that the Waif is not "No One" for being so obsessed with killing Arya.
