Think of it this way: if she gets 40-45 delegates tonight, then she needs 15-20 more, and it's entirely possible that a bunch of superdelegates just say "**** it" and hand her the last votes needed.

If she renders him inviable tonight, or if a few supers hop on the Hill Train and unite to hand her the nomination now, it could discourage Sanders voters and reduce the chances of a California upset. It could force a concession from him on Tuesday night instead of later in light of the unexpectedly early end to the race. Bernie recently said that although he'd fight for the convention, he'd do everything to help her beat Trump in November. If we somehow end this tonight, once and for all, officially and under the rules of the DNC, it could be a very good thing.

I am calm. I'm just saying that the absolute end of this has always been the moment someone becomes the Presumptive Nominee. If that happens now, early, it's the end of his campaign. It will completely wreck the miracle chance he has at squeaking by in the pledged count - and, by the way, he currently needs 68% on average including PR to do that.
