Am I the only one who thinks Hotel was the least scary/freaky of all 5 seasons? I didn't find Coven or FreakShow scary but they both had creepy elements. I hope somehow it can actually become more of a horror show like the first 2 seasons

The only season that's really "scary" is Asylum though. The rest of them have horror elements (especially Murder House) but are better classified as dramas IMO.

Asylum > Murder House > Hotel > Freak Show > Coven in terms of scariness

The show didn't gain traction with the GP until Coven and its various viral memes and Tumblr-worthy moments. Then Freak Show cut the hype for being generally awful.

Asylum is widely considered to be the best season from both critics and regular viewers.

Although I'd love a theme park themed season as well. I know it sounds similar to Freak Show but it could focus on those creepypastas about Disney and the murders and eventual cover-up by the big wigs to keep the park operational!
