I've been saying Into You is too gay and too pop to be a huge hit. Everyday on the other hand is coming for blood! I don't understand how some of you don't hear the smash potential in it. Straight guys are going to eat Everyday up because it actually has crossover appeal unlike Into You, Bad Decisions, and Greedy.

Everyday and Side To Side did the best on iTunes and Spotify out of the non-singles/non-promo singles. It's clear they're what the GP wants! If those do really well, then I'm fine with Ariana releasing Touch It as a single for a moderate hit (because it's my favorite on the album and I want to see a video).

Lets be real, nothing in this album will reach #1 but I think Side to Side/Everyday are the BEST single choices after Into You

Well your straight friends might, but I don't trust the rest of the straight population! They abandoned Ariana after the ME era and only the gays were left to carry her career! She needs a definite straight-friendly smash like Everyday to win them back!

Well if she wants a real hit this era, its her best bet to release TI as a single ASAP tbh.
Also, I fail to see how IY is too gay...

Which is why Everyday (the least "girly" song) is the best single choice! Men, women, gays, and straights alike can bop to it!

Mess at the song being too gay and pop when Ariana's main fans are women, gays and her main radio format is pop radio . The song isn't even gay it's just a female dance pop song like Problem, Break Free, Bang Bang etc. Her whole discography is too gay
Everyday will literally chart negative positions internationally, they could expand the charts to top 1000 and it would not chart for not even 1 week. Pop/HAC Radio will ignore it, Urban Radio hates her, the best she has is rhythmic, which is not enough for a #1 smash. Even I Dont Care would be a better single.
Realistically were getting Side To Side next, and then Be Alright though so idk why you girls are acting brand new.

Yes I agree, Ariana's main fans are women and gays and her main radio format is pop radio, but she needs to try to expand BEYOND that if she wants a huge hit. Everyday draws in the straight guys. It also appeals to urban (because it features Future), rhythmic (she's had success there in the past), and pop (her main) - just not HAC but that doesn't matter because they've never supported her anyway (see Dangerous Woman).

Side to Side is okay but I still want Leave Me Lonely to be released first,
And Be Alright can stay as a promo single for good, the beat is cute but the song itself is pointless af

The fact that I could see "Be alright" as the next single the lyrics are pretty universal too

I want side to side as 3rd single and greedy as 4th. I wouldn't mind everyday as a fifth single.

If you could predict Meghan would open with 175-250k pure sales then Be Alright would never be a single for sure (and obviously it won't be picked as a radio single thanks to its boringness except the repetitive catchy beat).

Leave Me Lonely would close this era better than Everyday. I still can't get into Everyday tbh It's just like something that I can't understand. Maybe like Thuggin sis said above, the song is the straightest one of Ariana and I'm too gay for it

I'm shocked people aren't seeing the hit Everyday is destine to be
No one's saying it's the best song on the album, but it's clearly going to be a success.

Everyday will peak at #16 on pop radio, a Tori Kelly payola flop teas. If Republic literally uses every payola dollar they have maybe it could make it to #11, but i doubt it. Rhythmic has Rihanna and Beyonce right now, so she'll peak at like #8 there. She wont make the top 40 on urban per usual.

I've been wanting Be Alright to be a single lately. I know it's old and y'all drag it now ( ) but I think it could do well

But the fact that there's only 1 out of 100 straight guys knows Ariana's radio songs and 1 out of 10000 straight men is a fan (Mario Gotze ). They would ask you "You're into that kind of stuff?" if you say you like her tbh I can't see any point straight men would get into her music. The biggest negative thing of her material is her lyrics, like I still don't really care about her lyrics at all because they are just all the same about her feelings towards guys (it just grew from lovely Tattooed Heart. Honeymoon Avenue to Bang Bang ( ), Love Me Harder (more like **** Me Harder ) and now Sometimes be like "It's hard to breathe when you kiss/touch me there ( )"). It's just too gay for straight people to get into.
And the repetitiveness of "baby/babe" annoys me af.
