Exactly, I'd rather spend 6 minutes browsing the forum and posting **** that's probably irrelevant to my life than watch your video. I'll still stand by my opinion anyway.

Kinda sad that you can't even take 6:30 minutes out of your time even tho you seem to obsess over this woman and this forum, but what did I really expect from you and your flawed logic.
Let me sum the video up for you then: You're being an entitled brat.

Gaga girl I love you but there are people out there getting shot by cops, have a hard time providing for their family, working 9 - 5 while only getting paid minimum wage, people lost their close mom and dad, people battling life threatening diseases, people having a hard time finding love, people getting discriminated by their race, etc. It's not a competition but she has it good. She's a rich white woman with a huge mansion in Malibu with a handsome fiance of 5 years that shes about to marry, loving family that always support her, a career, I mean she gets to wear the most expensive clothes every other day. She gets to fly out to many different countries. She is a very privileged woman and I'm aware that she has struggles like the rest of us but she is generally more happy than a lot of us. I don't buy the whole "I'm so sheltered" crap neither because the other day she was riding the MTA 6 train in NYC and no one took a pic of her or recognized her.

I totally get where you're coming from and perspective is a useful tool, but it's problematic to counteract a statement by comparing their lives to another.
We don't say "why are you so happy when others have it so much better than you?" because it's irrelevant and unnecessary to invalidate how a person's feeling. Emotions are irrational and we'd never be allowed to feel anything if we sense-check it first.
Gaga's life can be hard. I totally buy that. The scrutiny, harassment, misogyny and politics. The pressure of continuing her success and being the sole face of a multimillion dollar brand and investment. Supporting those on her payroll, pleasing the people above her. Balancing her personal life and ensuring it's healthy. Knowing she could develop lupus and lose it all because she works so hard to please everyone. Battling bulimia and drug addictions. Hell, acknowledging the possibility that she could be assassinated any day because she's a public figure.
Being successful doesn't invalidate that, it just makes her circumstances different. In turn, my life isn't automatically 'easier' because I don't deal with the above.

Yeah Redone isn't going to make it on the album much anymore since he keeps blabbing too much and we know Gaga hates her producers talking.

Right?! I'm waiting something more concrete. If she releases another album of jazz covers I'm over her.

Well, that particular thing is what started the meltdowns wave,
since Tony sorta confirmed it. Take his 89 year-old word as you may.

Tony said that they were working on another Jazz album last October, so idk why everyone is acting like this is brand new information. He also confirmed that they were doing Cole Porter standards.

What's really sad is that you think I care.
But let's stop being contentious individuals and move on.

I remember Tony said in 2013 that Cheek To Cheek would drop in January 2014 but it ended up being pushed back to September. We should expect a new jazz album but that doesn't necessarily mean that it's coming before LG5. Even Mindtrappa said that he was jumping the gun and that it could be released next year instead.

She's really big in Vegas and the wait between the album and the tour would be bearable. I don't see what's the big problem it's not like any of use are going, tickets must be really expensive.
|
I don't see the problem with a residency, either. It's not like she'll do a long-term residency or anything. It'll probably be a short thing to promote CTC2 and then she'll move on with her check.
The only people who seem to think residencies are bad are people who stan for success. Like I said in another thread, they're only bad if they don't sell out.

I mean, if was a jazz album with her lyrics, I wouldn't mind at all. The problem is the covers feels empty to me.

Hey guys! I thought I would stop by and ask a question about LG5. How do you think she'll release it? I'm pretty sure it will be on Apple Music since she's part of it so I wouldn't be surprised if she had a deal with them. Do you also think she'll have new material premiered on Beats 1? It seems as if that's the new way to premiere new music. Gaga is a part of that as well. But how about Spotify? Will she take the Taylor Swift route and not put it on at all, pull an Adele and put it on 6 months later, or put it on immediately? I'm expecting LG5 to have a similar release to VIEWS, in which it was an both an iTunes + Apple Music exclusive (physical copies immediately available as well) and was later sent to Spotify about 2 weeks later.

I'm pretty sure it'll be available everywhere. She's not affiliated with certain services like Tidal and hasn't really spoken out against streaming.
If she does some kind of incentive (like a bundle), I think it would be cool.
