I'm a supporter of streaming being in the BB200 but the way it is rn is so bleh. Like an album being streamed 3x as much as its bought isn't a good look to me (and I love Drake). If anything it shows people are only streaming the album instead of buying it. I think the way and weight it's calculated at needs a re-evaluation.
Like even ANTI, which has not sold all that well but is a streaming hit, has been exaggerated. And the sad part is I was probably one of the Rih stans that was like "woo Anti #1 in its 8th week queen" but I'm getting sick of 1/3 sales and 2/3 streaming scenarios. Drake is just a striking example of this, hence why I keep bringing him up. IDK it makes the charts odd and something doesn't sit well with me.
