What! S&M was already charting at #2 before the remix came out. It's like saying Missy Elliott is the reason Last Friday Night made #1 (she gave it a push but it was well on its way without her contribution). Britney also sounds terrible on it so if anything, people used the original moreso after the novelty of two pop divas working together wore off.

Xtina wasn't part of any remixes though (no ARTPOP), the original hit songs featured her! The circumstances for S&M Remix and Scream & Shout are totally different too. Wow

Say Something was released by A Great Big World ALONE and she later hopped on it. Sceam and Shout is exactly the same situation as Feel This Moment

Correction, it didn't take off until The Voice promo. Xtinct hopped on an already released song which is the exact same situation as S&M. And Scream and shout still is a multi platinum global smash, bigger than Feel This Moment even sooooooooo. No matter what you try to pull here Xtina is a loser and has been losing the entire decade. Let it go

She performed the song, people loved it, and afterwards it became a hit. What's wrong with that? S&M was already a bonafide smash before Britney jumped on it to get it to #1. They are two entirely different situations and you can hear it too.
