The challenge asked for a theme to be fleshed out and expressed through imagery and you definitely did that This type of song is something I would listen to. My favourite part is still the pre-chorus.

I do think that the chorus is a little weak and the emotional level is bit too consistent which isn't necessarily a bad thing

My only problem is the first verse really, I was a bit confused on whether this was a water song or a flying song due to the line about the birds & the wind.

But when the pre-chorus and chorus comes in. Complete perfection. And so relatable.

I didn't get too much rock from this, I get that houses can have rocks on their façade - and in this case brick - there just wasn't enough direct connection to the challenge for me. Even the genre was Country, not Rock!

I can get this. It operated under the assumption of marriage as the rock, with the house they built a metaphor for their time together. And this HAD to be country because no other genre can get away with destruction of property w/o sounding quasi-abusive tbh.
