we had a tornado outbreak here and in north carolina some months ago and it sucked a lot
although to be fair, if you ever are near a tornado, the vast majority of tornadoes in massachusetts are seriously weak and probably won't hurt you, which applies here too. (except the tornado in worcester that like, killed almost 100 people in the 50s, but you know)
if you live far enough south, like alabama or mississippi, then you should be prepared, because when tornadoes hit there they're usually really bad even though it's not as common as in the plains.
