Honestly, I adore education. Like I love academia and the feeling I get from learning and being at university is incredible. It's the overload of stress/exams/balancing it with other things that I will need the break from.

That's why I could definitely see a Masters or some kind of further education being a possibility, but like I need time to think about it and research it because I am not ready

Ah ok. I think understanding where those thoughts come from will help boosting your esteem. You're clearly doing well in school if you have a 3.9 GPA. Is it the people around you? If so, then you should try seeking positive support. You can probably speak to advisors within your school that houses your major to figure out internships that help give you experience as well.

middle school ruined my self esteem and high school pissed on it I finished high school with an extremely low GPA and it still lingers in the back of my mind every single time I get a grade

it's just my past and the fact that I deal with anxiety / anorexia. I've temporarily seen a counselor before but I felt that it made me feel even more insecure when I would vocalize my thoughts. I would try again (maybe it was just the fact that I wasn't comfortable with the counselor provided) but I feel like I don't have the time right now. Lately its just been a lot of pressure to pay off school (since I've been paying off this semester entirely myself) and help out my grandpa that is diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. (I can't even see him and it tears my heart apart.)

I'm hard on myself too but girl a 3.9 is freaking amazing. You should be proud of yourself. We're wasting our youth on always worrying over little things that shouldn't and don't matter which we will regret when we get older.

I see. I think I get where you're coming from. Or at least empathize with how you're feeling. I think just finding someone you can talk to can help get some things off your chest, at the very least. Just know my inbox is always open and I'm sending prayers to your grandpa as well.

I'm the opposite, I'm anxious about working

My major is Commerce, I'm specializing in Organizational Behaviour and doing a last minute Minor in Sociology. I actually wish I could do a double major and a minor but I had that idea a bit too late.
