no you're not going to get an infection, just follow these guidelines
1) don't peel the skin on top of the blister
2) let the blister's fluid drain out
3) after that, wash it with lukewarm water and some soap
4) cover the blister with something dry and clean (a dressing) to prevent it from infection

I've burned myself before. I did all of this to prevent the blister from getting an infection once it bursted
edit: and if the blister has yellow/green pus coming out of it, that means it's already been infected
It's such a sad and helpless feeling.
