James Blake's worst album. Also, the rest of Radiohead's album was a disappointment after the release of Burn The Witch. Also, MC scores usually aren't very useful for them, so I doubt the 88 says much about it's real reception. Neither managed to shift the critical microscope away from Lemonade. I expect to see a batch of hip-hop/r&b albums above them on year-end lists, including Lemonade.

James Blake released an album definitively up to par with his last two albums.
It could be his best.

Radiohead returned to form and matched the gray, somber dreaminess of In Rainbows.

James Blake album just wasn't on par with his last two albums, and it was way too long.

Radiohead: agree. But returning to form (with decades of old songs, no less) is its own type of disappointment for a band of that caliber. You expect an Abbey Road, not a Let It Be.

Lemonade's score is inflated because reasons. But oh well, it's still great. :shrugs:
