A lot can be accomplished in 3 weeks if it's just the post production/mixing stuff, etc. If the album is truly coming in August, and Mark is the Record producer then those RedOne songs definitely didn't make the cut cause he'd be informed by now so it all makes perfect sense.

I have my doubts about the album being finished or ready for that August release but we'll see.

The lead single is really close. Gaga has never released a summer lead single, so it will be really cool if she releases in late June the lead.

Also there's that thing about GMA having one more slot for a performer in August that has yet to be announced. It's on August 19th a week and a few days before VMA's. I feel like that'd be a great opportunity for her to perform.

She did something like this back in what 2010? That was where she basically premiered You & I piano version before it was on BTW. It's basically a small concert where the singer sings old hits and sometimes new songs. It's crazy how August 19th was the original scheduled date for Applause though, AND it's a Friday.

Also we can't really say how much time they "have" because we don't know what they've actually done and where they are. They could technically be finished with most of the album and are just finishing up loose ends. I refuse to believe that she scrapped much of anything, just continued working with Mark and other producers.

If the lead single comes in second half of June, the album might arrive in August 19 tbh. It's not as predictable as a Sept/Oct/November album release and end of August is when the new season starts, so it'd be kind of nice to be kicked off with Gaga.

gma performance would be fantastic. she could either perform the new single or not , the main focus would be to have lady gaga the popstar back and remind her of her good songs.

True, I could see it being used as her popstar comeback. Followed by the actual debut performance of the single at the VMAs.
