I mean, if they do something like Ash's Greninja with your starter(which I know because of the memes and lashes on fanpages), I won't mind at all. It seems to me that they wanted to implement this somehow, but backed off when they got lashed
I want Pokemon variations to become a thing. It'd be neat to see how different Pokemon that appear in each regions Regional Dex would look like to fit the environment.
I doubt they have the space to do it though for EACH Pokemon.

They tried it with genders in Gen 4 but completely stopped and only assigned them to major differences now. They ain't even gonna try

No they're stupid and ****ing pointless, save the space for new Pokemon and not dumb varieties.
