Basically.
There's nothing more intimidating than seeing someone rise from poverty in a third world country to become on top of the world, all by theirselves, independently, without the help of Daddy Knowles, Mama Tina or Kelly and Michelle.
So they have to resort to racism, xenophobia and classism by making fun of how Rihanna was a "poor Bajan coconut"
