Know the facts before you post TRASH like this again.
Charmed WON. Talent ALWAYS wins. Move along dear.

Oh you wanna talks facts, child?
Buffy is one of the most diverse and acclaimed shows of all time. It paved the way for Charmed. The only reason Charmed exists is because the network wanted to capitalise on the supernatural/badass women trend Buffy helped start.
Ratings for Buffy on the WB were HIGHER than Charmed and even on the UPN, Buffy's final episode got more viewers than the Charmed series finale. Buffy has some of the best written episodes of all time that are cited as being innovative, groundbreaking and iconic: Hush, Once More With Feeling, The Body....
Its cross-over into merchandise was astounding e.g, books, comics, board games: including TWO video games. It's been listed on almost all best TV shows of all time list. It's studied academically all over the world, because of how well written it is, how it portrayed homosexuality and the metaphors it used to convey serious issues. Buffy was a pop culture phenomenon. It created a successful spin-off and franchise. It holds a higher IMDB and TV.com rating (would the public lie?). It won over
52 awards, including Emmys and SMG was nominated for a
Golden Globe for her performance. Sarah got an achievement award from the Teen Choice Awards for portraying a strong female character, and impacting pop culture. Charmed won 5 random awards in 8 years.
I love Charmed, but it's basically a supernatural soap opera. No consistency, not that well written and has terrible continuity. It rarely took risks, and was rather safe with its plot. It would make things up, which contradicted previous statements it made. It can't hold a candle to Buffy when it comes to impact, story or acclaim. I think people who prefer Charmed to Buffy, really prefer easier storytelling. It doesn't matter if it doesn't make sense, isn't well written or is simple. That's the attraction, especially for younger viewers.
Writing this, i just realised how silly it is to even compare them. Charmed can't compare, really. It's laughable to even debate.
Critics don't lie. Acclaim doesn't lie. Writing doesn't lie. Now let the power of three, set you free.
Once again, just want to say i do love Charmed. But keep it real.
