The characters and plot lines at the beginning are so... contrived?
The way its written is so suspense based for so long.
When they're truly situated and start to understand where they are is when it's best.

Seasons 2 and 3 were the best imo. 4 and 5 had some of the best moments overall. The final season was meh because I wasn't really interested in the whole Jacob story but I loved the ending.

I literally started watching lost last year, got through to season 5 and everything started to get stupid and boring so i stopped watching. They should have ended it once they got off the island

I really liked the Jacob story. The symbolism was so cool... the ancient religious plot lines were so interesting to me. And like, the temple. Just that kind of stuff.

Season 2 was great though. A step up from season 1 for sure.
