I don't even like Gen 3 that much, but I have to admit, that Hoenn is by far the best region. A town that is floating on the sea. (Unova tried but failed) A town, where people live in trees. Then we have the best city in the entire franchise: Sootopolis City, the music, the atmosphere, that town is everything. Who wouldn't want to live in a vulcano? And the diving feature in Hoenn >>>
Gen 4 is my favorite Gen though, I don't even know why. D/P/Pt have so many flaws, the games are so slow and Sinnoh, as a region, is so boring. The new Pokémon evolutions that were introduced though. And the music.
Oh... And that rival from D/P/Pt. He was my biggest childhood crush.
