Even as a big fan, the reviews had me worried going in, but I thought it was really good. There's really not too much going on contrary to what everyone is saying. (I mean in the last movie we had to just accept that Wolverine could have his mind moved 30 years by Kitty Pride... like c'mon).

Can't wait to W3 and X4.

They probably should have someone co-write the 90's film with Simon Kinberg... Hopefully with setting up this new team the next film will feel more focused.

X-Men: Apocalypse is what I equate to a television filler episode. It did a good job setting up for the next movie, tbh. I'm pretty hyped with what they will do for the first official villain that will be everywhere in these Fox X-Men universe.

They also need someone who can mix action beats with emotional beats. Singer had me slain with all the emotional beats in this movie, but my God the action came in such horrid way.

Just forget about the old movies because this X-Men is a new timeline. Wolverine 3 will be set in the old timeline. The only thing you need to concern yourself is when Wolverine 3 comes out. Days of Future Past wiped X-3 out of canon, so if old Jean pops up in that movie, that is the reason why.

Apocalypse reminds me of Age Of Ultron. They both underrated films, both introduce important characters (Wanda, Vision, Cyclops, Jean, Nightcrawler), both impact in future movies, but it's like people don't like them because they are not as good as they previous installments and also there's no big resolutions in them.

I have an unpop opinion, but I thought X Men Last Stand was great too.. the only X films i dont like are the two wolverines

Also, it's kinda weird when Magneto's character is SO gullible, I mean in each film he's bad then in the end becomes good again

I believe both of those movies are outside of canon as well. Wolverine 3 will fit into the old timeline though.

I only found him gullible in DOFP, tbh.

WIth how it's doing kinda eh in the US it'd have to do 350ish WW to reach 500 million. Doable since it's already made 130 million overseas but China is a big question mark.

I went to see it yesterday, the movie SLAYED. People are bandwagoning against it.

Great characters, great ending, not rushed, every single character has decent screen time. I went thinking 'This is going to suck' , but i was surprised because it's so good.

Ignore the critics.
