I don't expect her to sing like she did for TBE, because that would really **** her up. She was SAAAAANGING on that tour on every song. And that's just not healthy in the long run.


I think her voice definitely matured further after pregnancy. Her tone is even more incredible now, and it has so many different layers. She can sound as light as her DC days, and then ride the beat on 6 inch in the second octave like its nothing.

I agree, her tone is so much more rich and mature now, but when it comes to full out power vocals she hasn't yet beaten 4 for me. That's what I love about Bey though, she is always actively improving aspects of her artistry with each era.

Hello is the best song on that album. Along with Disappear. I love all of Bey's albums tho.

edit: she still could've kept most of the I Am side though. Hello is a better ballad than every song on I Am except Halo

As much as I want to hear her vocals this time, I understand why she toned down the singing with this tour. Her voice is maturing and as the mezzo soprano she is, she won't reach her vocal prime until late 30s/early 40s, so she's being wise. We are fortunate to have all those videos of MCSWT and TBE to keep us satisfied.
