X/Y storyline was boring and forgettable but the pokémons introduced were so much better than the ones from the previous generation. The Unova pokedex was a mess, so many spots wasted on duplicates and ugly pokémons...
Are you telling me Gen 5 is so ****ed I can't even do challenge mode on White 2 because I don't have Black 2?
Well, I really don't want to have to go buy Black 2 today, so I'm not really sure if I'll ever experience challenge mode - and I was actually going to beat White 2 for that. Sad.
I didn't like ORAS, it was too easy and too boring. I want to try Emerald tho, everyone glorifies it.
To me, the post game is one of the best. It feels like you're "replaying" Pokemon Emerald again with battling the Battle Frontier people and you get a little treat for filling the dex too.
I discovered ATRL thanks to this thread so I suppose I'll keep lurking and posting in here for a while. My first PokéGame was Blue and the latest one is Alpha Sapphire. As far as favorites are concerned, I have genuinely enjoyed every generation thus far, but I guess I'd rate it like this:
