I have respect for Gen 1 because it made all the further gens possible. I don't understand the issue? And part of the reason why I didn't put Gen 6 down was because I based it on the games that I enjoyed the most (obviously not 7, I put it as shade) I didn't really like Gen 6 other than the new mechanics, and a couple Mons'. But here's my updated ranking, so I don't look like a troll

I mean, to each his own and you like what you like, but I just don't think anyone's ever adequately explained to me how Gen 6 is worse than 1 or 2 - I've actually never seen a legitimate or good case for it being worse than 3 either. And I know for a fact basically all of y'all use Gen 6 regularly, whereas Gen 1 and 2, well... I just don't understand.

Hoenn and Unova had my favorite music. Followed by Sinnoh, the Kanto and Johto are pretty much tied. And well i then Kalos. Kalos' music was pretty bland and umemorable but had some great gems (Snowbelle, Laverre, that one beach route)

Guys honest question, why is Platinum so hard to grind levels? I'm already at Fantina's gym and I'm trying so hard to grind levels to face her Mismagius

I don't see how can you guys play the games with the music on
It's so bad and that annoying beeping sound that comes on when your pokemon is dying is super annoying. I always turn the sound off and listen to my pop girls while playing.

Ooh thanks for posting this. I forgot how much I love the Misdreavus line . I used her all the time when playing Platinum.

To be quite honest, I never really paid much attention to the music in the games outside of specific towns/routes in certain games (that escape me atm).

Misdreavus and Mismagius is my favorite Ghost-type line. Shame they're usually so hard to get in game Colloseum almost handed me one though which was nice (especially when the AI kept using normal or ground attacks).

agree on the music. I never really noticed; so I can't really think of any specific themes from any generation - except the first. Although, I do remember a lot of the music from Colloseum because it was so different to the other games; whereas the main games just sound the same with various tints tbh Pyrite Town was great.

No, I do that too. Although usually I don't do the post-game either (unless it's something relevant like HGSS). I've played through XY at least 14 times and I've done the (very small) postgame a whopping one of those times

Glad I'm not alone. There's so many pokemon that I never get the chance to use plus I'd like to give all of the starters a chance regardless of how they look. It's probably why I never get worked up about any of them since I'll play with them all eventually.
