Does anyone think that someday we'll get a game where you can travel to all or most of the main regions? Like a console game or something, I don't know. Clearly its not feasible to do a main series release style with one singular journey, and the size of the game itself would be huge.

I don't think they'll do something like this for a long while. It would also probably be on the Wii or whatever console they come up with down the line.

I wish they would do it soon. Call it like "Pokemon Ultimate"
You start out in Kanto, then when you get to Johto you have to abandon your Pokemon and start fresh, and then once you beat all the regions you can unlock your pokemon to fight the highest elite four ever.

Even if it was just a PBR-type game with varying regions and locations, like super expanded, I would be happy, but this is kind of the ultimate goal.
