When an artist has a hit, the popularity of their album increases.
And no, a whole album should not be streamed for it to count. If I listen to 16 tracks on a 17 track album and skip one I don't like, the entire time I listened to the album and me listening to over 90% of the album shouldn't count?

Now, we all know this isn't true otherwise artists like Pitbull, Jason Derulo, and Flo Rida would have sold more albums than some of these pop girls.
Also, you can look at albums without "hit" songs on the charts that are selling and being streamed more than albums with hit songs. These are two separate areas. Stop trying to deny it. One song = equal the popularity of the entire album. This logic is and will continue to be nonsensical.
