I used to find the whole white walker/north/bran storylines so annoying but now they seem to be what's keeping the show moving. This last episode didn't even have any parts occur in King's Landing which definitely shows where the show is heading.

Thats not saying much. There are many episodes that skip one or more regions. The cast and story is just too overbloated to fit everyone in each episode.

The Sansa hate is still a thing here? She's becoming more and more powerful with time.

Even though I generally like and am rooting for Daenerys (though not above the Starks, if it comes to that), she is basically a Mary Sue. A unique (white haired) beauty, almost recognized unanimously in-universe as beautiful and lusted after wherever she goes, of ancient royal blood, maybe a good leader but certainly a great conqueror, with pseudo-magical powers in a setting that features much less of it than other fantasy works, DRAGONS, and the fact that it was obvious from the framing of her story arc from the very beginning that she'd be relevant even towards the end of the series (effectively giving her plot armor). She's basically every 13 year old girl's escapist fantasy. In a setting which is famous in part for a painfully realistic take on heroism and humanity compared to most other mainstream works within the Sci-Fi/Fantasy genre, a protagonist who would appear grandiose even in a Tolkienesque High Fantasy work obviously sticks out like a sore thumb, and probably warrants some scorn from the people who like the series for it's grittier, less heroic, and certainly more unpredictable aspects.
As far as Arya hate, it's probably unwarranted, but understandable at least. ASoIaF/GoT is more on the plot-driven side of the characters-vs-plot spectrum. Since Arya's story arc is dragging and appears out of place and certainly out of pace with the rest of the story, people are growing weary of it. That's why Sansa was so hated when all she was doing was being driven from place to place getting abused and raped, whereas now that she seems to be driving the plot forward she's getting less hate and that is all transferred onto Arya, who we'll probably see getting hit with a stick for two minutes before passing out this Sunday. More importantly, I just can't see a purpose or direction for her, unless some magic spell has her kill the "Cersei" actress and it somehow kills the real Cersei, idk. She still has to shut a pair of "green eyes" forever, according to Melisandre, which describes the Lannisters (in the books anyway, idk Lena/Peter/Nikolaj's eye colors off the top of my head).

Game of Thrones is the kind of show where you want to see everyone lie and die at the same time.

Eh.
I'm uncaring either way about the vast majority of the characters usually and whether they live or die (except as they relate to Sansa I suppose) - tyrion, jaime, dany, jon, jorah, theon, bran, sandor, cat, robb, ned, robert, viserys, varys, sam, bronn, shae, jeor, gendry, tommen, jaqen, drogo, davos, stannis, ygritte, talisa, brienne, gilly, roose, tormund, daario, missandei, ellaria, sparrow...
I only hate the men who have brutalized Sansa or helped facilitate that - i.e. Petyr, Joffrey, Ramsay.

Lol. I just saw that Sophie Turner thinks Sansa's endgame love should be Marg.
While that would, in fact, be the best couple possible - the Starks and the Tyrells joining to rule the Iron Throne - I find it all too likely that Marg will die before we even get to the climax of the show.

So what?
People have every right to hate her, just like they have every right to hate Dany or Arya. I just wish they had actual arguments. Articulate one sentence around "she's dumb" or "she's useless" just doesn't cut it for me. So I just tend to ignore those comments and so should y'all.
I personally love all the characters in the show, they ALL together make the show so interesting to watch for me. Each characterization and evolution is wonderful to watch. Especially for the top 6: Tyrion (56 ep), Dany (46), Jon (47), Cersei (49), Sansa (45) and Arya (44), the characters that appeared in the most episodes.
I am a bit surprised some people aren’t feeling Sansa this season. She is one of the most interesting character this season and almost every scene of hers this year has been a highpoint of the episode.
Some people are taken back that she is acting differently this season, but it makes perfect sense. Sansa has been holding back her emotions for years, even Tyrion recognized that she was always saying one thing, but holding in how she really felt. Now that she finally is in a place of safety she can tell everyone around her what this young woman that has been abused for five seasons really feels and thinks. She has been a little firecracker for awhile now, she called Joffrey a coward to his face in subtle ways, she called Ramsay a bastard to get under his skin, and told Miranda off to show that she wasn’t afraid (even if she was), but she always had to pick and choose her battles, mostly choosing to hide behind the persona of a dumb little girl with nothing to say. But now she doesn’t have hide that side of her. She is in position to play the game just like she saw from Tyrion, Littlefinger, Cersei, and Margery. She’s still a little misguided, Davos pointed that out when critiquing that her knowledge and trust in Northern houses might still be idealistic, but it’s perfectly in character for her to not be a perfect strategist right now. And it’s interesting. How would an angry young woman react in this situation?
I also am happy that she lied to Jon, it makes her more interesting. She could just be his lapdog that gives him every piece of herself so he can go make things better but her abuse has formed an agency that she guards and keeps closely, and motivations that might not directly align with everyone else, even those that support her. I can see a cooperative rivalry developing between her and Jon, and that would make for an awesome development of their relationship, rather than them being the best of friends that never hide anything and always work at achieving their goals in perfect harmony. Boring.
Sansa learned bits and pieces from Cersei, and Margery, and Lady Olenna, and The Hound, and Tyrion, and Littlefinger, and took abuse from Ramsay, and Joffrey, and Cersei. It would frankly be out of character for her to come out of that with a perfectly black and white view of the world that doesn’t involve manipulating people, bending the truth, and being a lot more aggressive to get what you want accomplished. She might fail in some respects, but she’s going to fail on her own agency, and that is good drama to watch.
I feel like I'm not watching the same show as y'all.

I saw it coming. I started watching in 2012 and it was already getting big. It was the new 'it' show and it just continued getting bigger and bigger.
Deserves it all though.

It always seemed very seemless for her to overcome her issues, unlike the Stark siblings for example, who had to struggle for a long long time (Arya ever since she saw her dad being beheaded, Sansa ever since she went to Kings Landing, Jon ever since he joined the Night's Watch).
Wait till Daeny sacrifices herself and saves humanity. Everyone will kiss her ass then. It's only when they are dead that people start caring about characters. #hodor

This!! All her accomplishments have been because of the magic, it was only season 1 where people really built up and overcame things out of a personal struggle, after that she's just been given a free ride. Came out of fires... magic, hatched 3 dragon eggs.... magic, escaped a warlock house...magic took over an army... magic, took over a city.... magic, escaped a huge revolt... magic. If she was left alone in the red waste after Drogo died like other characters with no magic, she would have died. I agree that she will probably die trying to save the land she wants to rule which would be a good ending for her and bittersweet.
Arya can die, I won't be sad if she does, with or without her the story is still the same, she'll probably get one good kill...hooray for the little feisty lesbian looking girl. #MuchUnderdog #SoFeisty
Tyrion can die now as well... after he left kings landing he's just been a jester. I really can't stand his one liners anymore, they just throw them on there to feed the audience, Varys can keep things moving in Essos.
Cersei as much as I kind of hate her, I also love her, she is Kings Landing and keeps it interesting now that Sansa, Tyrion, Tywin and everyone else is gone from there.

Sansa is useless and hasn't done anything interesting yet in this season.
