You know what lemme talk Sansa some more.
I can't help but think Sansa lying to her allies about the (extremely unreliable) source of that information definitely won't come back to haunt her and definitely won't result in some nice and perfectly innocent character(s) meeting a horrible death?
I can totally see Benioff and Weiss doing that kind of s***, it's their mantra. Ew.
I fear for Brienne and Podrick.
To me it seems that Sansa didn't tell Jon about Littlefinger, because what Littlefinger said to her hit home. (the "half brother" comment) She kinda wants to rule Winterfell, she doesn't want to be a pawn (again) for a man to claim power, even if he is her (half) brother, even though she loves him. Having an army of her own, from her mother's side of the family in the Riverlands, puts her back on the board as a player. And that moment when she stated outright that the North is loyal to the Starks, and she is the only one named Stark (Jon made a face at that moment, he was surprised that she shade him ) She also has Robin from her mother's side and from her own work getting him to love her more than Petyr, she may or may not let Littlefinger live, but if she does let him live is to use him.
I feel like she wants to rule the north (because she doesn't trust Jon 100% at the moment, which is understandable since he's very iffy since he came back from the dead) but she will ultimately support Jon to be "King in the North" once she sees his strength and the usefulness of that title on him to rally the northern armies.
|
The only reason she let Little Finger live is because she knows he's more use to her alive than dead, and the fact that she spoke to no one about her encounter with him only serves to further prove that she has plans for him, Sansa is playing the game three, maybe four steps ahead.

Let me quickly recap my reactions during the last 10 minutes of "The door":
1. Bran being touched by the Night's King:
2. Seeing how this affects their safety and the Night's King being able to walk through the fire like it's nothing:
3. Summer being killed:
4. The last girl from the forest sacrificing herself:
5. Me realizing the connection between Hold the door and Hodor:
6. Hodor sacrificing himself and the music playing in the background:
7. 5 hours later:

Btw this Meereen alliance with the Red Priestess... this is a terrible idea, right? I mean, I'm not the only one who had shivers going down his back when she was putting the creep on Varys, right. That whole meeting made me squirm. I don't know what will be the immediate role of that Kinvara priestess but if Dany accept her and she's here to stay, maybe she will serve as bridge between Dany and Jon/Melisandre, which is good thing. That's my optimistic side talking because deep down I feel like this will backfire like High Sparrow in KL. Never trust fanatics.

She needs a way of controlling the masses, the Red Priests are good at that. I low-key love Kinvara (not as much as Mel or the Asian one, one day maybe she'll be in the Holy trinity)

Bran yelling out to Ned during the Tower of Joy scene was the moment where Bran realizes that he can change the past. The Bloodraven starts acting shifty when pressed about it and won't give him a straight answer, but in this episode, we see the Bloodraven encourage Bran to warg into Hodor in the past. Thus, the Bloodraven acknowledges that Bran must alter the past in order for this story to unfold.
Bran is The Architect. He not only builds the wall, but he builds this entire story. He's the one who tells Rhaegar that he needs to give birth to a child. He whispers to the Mad King. He makes Varys the Spider. He communicates with the Red Priestesses to help them fulfill the prophecy. This story is Bran's life work. The last Stark heir reaching out from a doomed future to save the past.

R'hllor/The Lord of Light and other gods disagree
Who brought those dead people back? not Bran.
He is not changing the reality or history, he is just a cause.

Agree with the good sis Eoghan ofc
Yeah I feel like Kinvara is going to further delay Dany to westeros now that dothraki mess is settled
And yes the reason Sansa didn't spill to jon was cuz bitch wants to keep that army to herself for her safety/as backup

TBH! Apparently they cost more than the dragons anyway, so why waste time on something that isn't going to have an impact, where as the dragons are crucial and most likely going to be end game.

Sansa is useless. I also think she's planning on playing Jon..."but I have the Stark name" ch... I felt Sorry for Jon.
And she actually believed LF after telling him she's not believing his lies anymore and she threatened him to his face? She is so stupid and useless.

Men have been playing Sansa like a fiddle since season 1. Now she finally gains an inkling of power but she's already too much for you gays to handle
So if the wolves are being killed off for economic reasons, are they still alive in the books? I'm starting the books this summer.

Poor them. Arya was wise to let her wolf go when she did.
Nymeria is chilling in the woods, eating feast, getting f**ked and making babies. Living the life.

Exactly
It never ceases to amaze me how little praise/attention they get
Daenerys like unshackled herself from slavery, emerged from two fires unburnt, hatched three dragons, sacked a city & gained scores of mercenary soldiers with unwavering loyalty, freed hundreds of thousands of slaves, united all of the dothraki under her. I mean she has as many accomplishments as she does titles. And she's out there fending for herself and taking her life into her own hands.
Meanwhile, you have Jon Snow that brooded, broke his vows, did a cluster**** of a mess by letting thru savages and barbarians into the kingdom - the exact OPPOSITE of his mandate - and got himself killed for it. Then someone else needed to resurrect him so that he can use a technicality to shirk his vows. And he gets all of the praise on this damn show. Mel should have just burned him instead of Shireen.
And don't get me started on Sansa's alleged transformation. As if not telling her moron half-brother where she got her info is some brilliant strategic move.

Daenerys is more loved here, gays their tastes I guess
She's the most hated character by FAR (not counting villains) and with good reason.

That's what I'm saying, she's so hated yet she's the most just and capable leader. The only character that has demonstrated her capabilities as a ruler. The irony being that she thinks she's not competent enough to govern seven kingdoms.
I guess that is the hallmark of a wise person. They think they know nothing while actual morons think they know everything, despite a certain red-haired character constantly reminding them that they, in fact, know NOTHING.
