I don't think it necessarily means that all 8 songs are going to end up on the album. He probably just did those songs with her and now it's up to her to decide if any of them makes it into the record. Also, has he been involved in the sessions she's done with the other producers? I mean, I know we got pictures of them working together as the first sign of LG5 (?), but it feels like their sessions stayed separate from the others with Mark and whoever else came afterwards. Her work with the other producers seems to have been way longer, so I don't think they have just been working over the previous RedOne songs.

I'd usually agree with this and for the album to have a set sound / theme with producers, but Beyonce kind of proved otherwise. LEMONADE on paper sounds like a complete mess as an album that incorporated nearly every genre from pop, trap, R&B, hip hop, soul even country. That type of genre hopping would make you think it's an inconsistent piece of work sounding like a GH collection of random songs, but honestly LEMONADE is one of the most cohesive album listening experiences I've had. If the songs are all great and done properly, a pop, rock, funk sound could all blend well together on the record.

The new producers / artists popping out of nowhere joining the record is exciting, especially Tame Impala. I got into Currents from Rihanna's Same Ol Mistakes cover and really enjoy their electronic ambiance. Just perched to hear what a Lady Gaga track would sound like with them, BloodPop, Ronson, The Killers, etc... She brings out the best and she's back in good hands with experience producers to bring out the best in her.

I actually wouldn't mind a mix of genres like lemonade. It's actually what people notice first and foremost on the first play, that every song is completely different from the other

She can still achieve cohesion in terms of the themes set for the album

I don't get why people hate on producers I get if you prefer one to the other, but to completely write them off is stupid. Gaga's the one who gets final say on whether a song makes the album, and she also plays a major role in the creative process. People need to stop blaming bad songs/ flop singles on producers

Excited for all the producers announced so far Can't wait to see what Tame Impala and RedOne come up with!

how everyone hated on fernando's work on BTW...when we KNOW it was gaga who wanted the album to sound loud and hectic. he did a fantastic job, imo
