Oh my God, the Hodor reveal was both heartbreaking and genius. I'm kind of devastated right now. That was an incredible moment and one of the best scenes of the entire show. Such a tragic and yet heroic end to the character, I will miss that guy. Best ending he could have ever gotten. I can't praise the scene enough, it was just so well done, and with a great payoff too.

It was a very good episode. The scene in Iron Islands however, was bad in my opinion. In 5 minutes, Euron, who apparently hasn't been seen in years, suddenly appears and becomes King. Just like that. So half-baked, that was my only complaint in an otherwise fantastic episode.

My sister, who has refused to watch GoT anytime I try to get her into it because of how "boring" it looks, finally watched the first and second episodes last night and was slayed. She told me this morning that she didn't think it would be so good and how shocked she is at the quality.

I gave her all of my seasons on DVD/Blu-ray and she's watching them rn in her room with her boyfriend. Another new fan for Game of Thrones/ASOIAF.

I hope she doesn't already know about the RW, I want to make sure I see her reaction when she watches it for the first time.

The whole Iron Islands scenes were just very storybook-ish. Like a missing heir suddenly returns and makes a successful claim for ruler. Euron's basically a cartoon villain like Ramsey.
