That's basically what I'm saying, it's a little hard to explain through text, but in order for Hodor to have become Hodor, Bran was required and written in stone to stay in the vision too long. Basically the past/future/present are all parallel tracks and Bran rides all 3 at the same time, something in the present affects the future and past equally and whatever Bran does, is already written in the future so there's not really anyway for him to be able to change it because it's already written for him to do things that way.
Idk if that clears it up a little more, but that's just what I'm thinking.
