This expectation that every performance of the same song has to be different is stupid, boring, and...random.
Cause literally no act changes their performances at a high frequency.
No one can name a talented performer but Madonna/Kylie (cuz that's their performance style, you know...more stuff on stage) who does. Not Stevie, not Prince, not MJ, not Janet, not Tina, none of those big rock bands, not JT, not Bruno, not Chris Brown...not even Rihanna since that's who they go up for.
MJ performed the same songs, with the same dances, wearing the same clothes from the music videos, every time. Obviously no one cares but fomos.
