The Witch was WONDERFUL

from the trailer I expected a disjointed story relying highly on juxtaposition and metaphors to carry it but was satisfied with it "just" being a simple story made complex by the time spent on it. The cinematography and score were masterful, as expected, and I was impressed by the acting across the board, especially the three youngest children. Anya Taylor-Joy/Thomasin is stunning. I was able to understand most of the dialogue, the important bits at least, but will have to get the subtitles for the next time I watch it. The ending was terrifying.
