I only ask cos the subject im writing about is kinda broad so it would be kinda basic to be like "this is good" and "no its bad". Like, it's so predictable? Or to rephrase, there a lot of nuances to what is my current inspiration.

You can make a comparison between two different things for effect but they don't have to necessarily contradict each other,right? Or am I just confused?

I don't feel like you have to make a point then contradict it to use juxtaposition in your song. The point of you song can be the juxtaposition of two forces, like a battle of the mind or something.
