Hey so I have some music recs too if anyone's looking for new music
After you heard Put Your Records On, you probably assumed Corinne was a basic bitch. And for a while, she was. Actually, she kinda still is. But, there are some killer songs on her very new album. This one is super fun and showcases her vocals, but still has this interesting, unconventional feel to it. It's very memorable. Other highlights on the album include Green Aphrodisiac, Been to the Moon and Do You Ever Think of Me?.
Jacob Collier is this crazy crazy talented musician. You only truly understand what he's doing if you know a lot of music theory, but basically the harmonies and rhythms are otherworldly insane. He also plays every instrument in every song and records it all himself. BUT, with his original songs like this one, he moves past the niche of his talent and makes truly great, heartfelt songs. This one is quite the experience, and it's from his forthcoming album out July 1st.
I don't have any background for this song. But it's so happy. It makes me so happy. It sounds like it could've been in Shrek or something.

Guess I'll leave a couple other things I've been listening to
This soulful song is a midtempo but is full of energy. It gives me like 2am underground club that is literally underground teas. Know nothing about this girl but her voice is nice. I like the flutes and the bassline is so fun.
I heard this on NPR before 8AM. Basically all you need to know. Folky midtempo.
I'm going to cream myself
