saw it yesterday. it was good. First Class remains my favorite out of this trilogy, but i can't think of anything negative about the film. the only thing is i wish Apocalypse had attacked the city, for a mutant of his power he kind of kept his terror confined to the mutants who opposed him and let Magneto do most of the work with the civilians.
someone was saying that they hope the next trilogy takes place in the 90s and they stretch out the Dark Phoenix saga throughout all 3 films, and i really think that's the best way to address the storyline since they're obviously going to go down that route again.
i could see Phoenix killing Apocalypse coming a mile away. did that happen in the comics/cartoons too? Seems kind of lazy
lol i also just remembered there was a line in there Xavier says about how he's stronger because has people supporting him and Apocalypse doesn't which i'm fairly sure they ripped off directly from Harry Potter. it didn't even make sense, because Apocalypse had his horsemen, so yes, he did have support.
