Yeah, Taylor's true intentions is only caring about getting rid of the last remaining main pop girl of the 2008-2013 generation. Katy is remarkable resilent and took down a 4 times bigger opponent. If Taylor didn't pre-emptive strike early enough, Katy might extinguish Taylor too.
If Rih falls too, Katy could become the only main pop girl in the world since Beyonce and P!nk. Taylor was very alarmed by that prospect, had to resort to every single dirty tactic available, declared war at Katy and turned ganging up against a female into the most recognisable thing in her brand.
Katy's dream team has to be broken up by funding Kesha's cause. It's a Cold War tradition to fund/arm regimes, countries,... to annoy, drain or wear down the other superpower.
Once Katy proves that she can reinvent and be successful without him, Taylor would drop Kesha like a hot brick because there is no personal gain in supporting her.
There is no free lunch. Especially in show business that runs on connections, knowing people and doing favours.
It's sad that a power struggle between pop girls is fought out by pushing Kesha around on the chess board.

Legalized and socially accepted despotism is how Taylor sees feminism. Don't you dare to say something against her, she will use that feminism like it's the race card.
