That's not really what the Glu Mobile brand is.
It's supposed to be basically you creating your own character who is mentored by the celeb.t

Yes, it's one of those games where they give you tasks which you can complete using 'Energy'.
Energy automatically regenerates but over the course of a few minutes/hours. To get more energy you have to pay which is how the game makes money. There's also a second currency which is hard to get for free and you can use to buy certain clothes.
Check out Kim's game to get an idea of the gameplay.
