Juries are supposed to see beyond the flashy style that the GP eats up, I literally cannot take seriously anyone who says that You Are The Only One was worthy of more jury points this year.

And btw Heroes was the best song of 2015, glad the professional juries of music experts realized that.

I hated them and just because they sing Opera style does not mean the song is great

I also never said "trashy". But there is a difference between a song like the russian entry, which was very cold, calculated and generic - and a song like "Euphoria" for example, which was also very catchy and commercial but had a unique and touching performance and was not all so flat.

It is the exact opposite tho. Russian entry convinced enough people to get the 1st place with the televoting results which is a feat Heroes failed to achieve and was only able to win because juries thought it was the second coming.

In all but two of these countries (France and Spain), televoters awarded the Polish song 10 or 12 votes, according to the Eurovision results spreadsheet.
On average these 10 countries awarded Poland 9.6 votes, while the other 31 countries gave the Polish entry an average of only four votes each.
The only other country which gave Poland a big vote was Iceland - there the number of Poles is not huge, but they still compose the biggest migrant group.

So yes, even Iceland is under influence of the Polish migrant votes. Truely the new Turkey
