Oh...well Platinum Hit and upbeat songs are almost antonymous at this point. I did have some upbeat Top 10 songs last time I played, so it's not out of the question, but you'll tend to find most people take a more dark tone to this game.
It's fun, though, and kinda therapeutic if you write about something important to you.
EDIT: Well since ughgabriel talked about his song thematically (Welcome back, by the way!
), I'll talk about mine. I wrote a song from the perspective of someone with a newborn child, and the song is dedicated to that child.
Even though I'm highly confident I'll never have children, especially any from my genes, the thought of being a father does cross my mind once in a while, and it doesn't sound that bad. I'd love to give a child an amazing childhood with a stable and loving home, but I'm still working on taking care of myself.
But the song isn't about my insecurities about being a parent; it's actually quite charming as a song, I think!
It overtook Emotion as being my favourite album of 2015
