MADE IN JAPAN is perhaps my favourite Ayumi Hamasaki album off this decade and the only one I genuinely love since Rock 'n' Roll Circus back in 2010. The sound is essentially "Ayu" that I have known since 2006, but the lyrics that she delivered this time are beyond my prior expectation. No one in the Japanese Pop scene will ever come close to her lyrical depth and ingenuity. After all, lyrics were what propelled her into stardom in the first place.
I am rather glad now that I will have something from this year's Countdown Live to look forward to when I am in Tokyo.
5 albums later and Love Songs is still not topped. What a legendary album.
The only song I like off Love songs was crossroad, although I did buy all of the singles leading to the album and the physical copy of the album itself. It was such a shame really.
she looks like a Kingdom Hearts character in this picture. it's so creepy
