But the thing with Blanc and Eclare was that it wasn't managed or funded by SM, any money she made through that wasn't filtered, like any money the girls made through SNSD/SM. In layman's terms it was just a second job. Which I presume wasn't against their contracts since SM clearly didn't have any issue with her starting the business, Jessica said this herself.
And Yoona and Jessica's work differed anyway. Jessica got just as much magazine spreads and tv slots as SHY, but in 2014 it really was looking like Jessica had more on the table, with her own reality show, which she would have got more for, a Jungsis album, and Blanc and Eclare. Like I said, the whole thing of members having the power to chuck her seems strange anyway, but given the pettiness of the industry, I can almost see why certain members would be up in arms.
