Well what do you expect from a bunch of people who refuse to accept any experience other than those they're familiar with

If you look like a she, I will call you she. If you look like a he, the same goes. If you are androgynous, I will hold off and wait for you to say something.
You can't be expected to account and be responsible for everyone. If you wish to use a pronoun outside of the binary system, please inform me first and I will gladly use it. It's not my job to look like an idiot and assume, and in most cases that I have tried to go Gender-Neutral, it ends up insulting the person.

Admittedly, I would make an assumption until told otherwise.
I don't find it particularly difficult to use the term 'they', however, because I'm not a moron.

It depends on the context.
If someone looks either androgynous or is clearly trans, I use gender neutral out of respect. If someone looks clearly male or female, I use whichever pronoun fits at first sight. It's not hard.

Not you still using gender neutral pronouns after going on some transphobic rant

Why are people getting warned for stating their non-offensive opinions?
I always use gender specific pronouns.

In school my teachers would always correct people who used "they" when referring to one person. Instead they would write "he or she". That sounds so stupid though I've never heard anyone say "he or she" in casual conversation, they always say "they".

THEY as in PEOPLE. And how am I going in a transphobic rant? Anyone can do whatever they like or be whoever they like. It's not my place or time to judge them. But do I need to validate them? NO
Just because it's the tumblr phase now to accept everything and everyone and validate them and excuse them, doesn't mean I have to follow. I can think for myself, unlike most people who live their lives by the book and by terms and definitions.

This SJW phase western society is going through is really scary. People have ceased to think logically (again).
OT: Gender specific!

Exactly. It's just a phase and it will pass and people will find something else to obsess about in the near future. It's the cycle of life.

All these ****ing terms though. Like, go outside, enjoy life instead of worry about a he or a she. The majority of you who are being so pro term or whatever you want to call them, coulnd't give a **** 5 years ago because it wasn't a thing. But now that it is, with this ****ing internet that has changed the world, y'all make it into a big deal.

Ignorant? Really? Because I'm not following this tumblr SJW's phase? Because that's what it is, a phase.
If I see a person who looks like a man, I'll call him a he. Same for a woman. WTF is a they? If I heard someone refer to another as THEY, I would be rolling on the floor laughing.
That word, ignorant, is being used WAY too much and wrong these days, because apparently, every person seeks validation for themselves, whatever they choose to do, and when people don't give it to them, they are 'ignorant'. NO. You can do whatever you like with your life, It's not my time nor place to judge anyone. But don't expect me to validate you so you can feel better.
This is one of the only things I agreed with Azealia. CENSORSHIP.

Telling people to "go outside and stop worrying about this" when you're the one going on some tangent on a forum because people use the word they. Sounds like you need to "spice up your life!!1" Like why so angry? You are really showing your ignorance.. Referring to a singular person as they is not new, it's been a thing since way before you were born
P.S.

People have been gender queer and transgender long before tumblr has existed
my goodness
your association of these things to a website that started in 2007 just shows you have NO idea what you're talking about. please stop

THEY as in PEOPLE. Do I have to constantly repeat myself? If I see someone approach me and he looks like a man, I will refer to him as a HE. Same goes for a woman. THEY(he/she) need to spice up the lives, as in the PEOPLE who constantly worry about labels and terms and tumblr and SJWs.
And not you thinking I'm angry or going off. I'm DISCUSSING. Something the people of 2016 FAIL to do because they can only talk and think by what they read on forums and tumblr and all these terms that they've come up with.

no, replacing 'they' with 'people' in that sentence doesn't make sense.
...you really did just use a gender neutral pronoun. did it hurt as much as you thought it would?

Uhh.. "if anyone is offended, they..."
Anyone is singular. You used they as a singular pronoun. You used a gender-neutral pronoun
"All these terms they've come up with" Are you really trying to say referring to someone as they is a Tumblr thing? You are not discussing. You are just weirdly spewing the same ignorance in every post.
