With a big chunk of the Eastern European countries, that make up like half of the total countries in the contest, it is. The denial.
I'm not saying people are utter idiots but it's known in the ESC history that neighbour countries (or ones that share similar cultures) are inclined to vote for each others as what those countries do is bound to fall into their liking over countries that have a distant culture. I don't get why this is becoming so aggressive. I don't remember this riot when the same happened with Italy last year (which suffered of the "injustice" you're saying Russia went through way more than the latter, having less predictable support).
