I actually think Australia never should have been included. But if I remember right political statements are not allowed and she lowkey did one, and should have not been allowed.
I mean I am also still suprised why still all countries agree that certain countries (like UK and France) are always through to the finals without having to compete in the semi-finals. That system is flawed as f, but I guess money talks. And yeah polical biases also shouldn't be allowed but I doubt that can be stopped easily.
Not including Australia and excluding songs with any kind of political undertone should just be easy to do.
