But I have no problem with what a person prioritizes. I have been one of the few in here to say that not everyone agrees on what's most important.

But what you are saying is something different. You're insinuating that Obama is wasting his last year on "petty" issues when he should be focused on "bigger" things. He actually IS. He gave $80 million to Flint. He has started relations with Cuba. He and his administration are actually passing dozens of last minute regulations on guns, climate change, etc. The bathroom one just so happens to be the big one of the week that has been publicized. There are many cabinets that are pushing for different things every single day. And you should also know that his power is getting more and more limited as the months go by. He actually has until May 17th to pass regulations that can't be highly subjected for repeal by Congress and maybe a soon to be Trump presidency. Get all the facts before you say those misinformed comments.

Barbara Boxer and Jim Inhofe already introduced legislation to give hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars to fund places like Flint and help combat the series of water crises, that's THEIR job, that's what they were elected to do. Obviously, Obama supports such legislative effort and encourages congresspeople to vote in favor of such bill, and he also gave millions of administration dollars to help rebuild Flint's crumbling water infrastructure. So why is he getting shamed for simply threatening school districts of losing federal aid if they happen to discriminate against transgender individuals? Why is it a big deal that he's pushing for gender/sexual equality in a strategic executive way without spending taxpayer money (which he does spend on Flint)?

Stop blaming Obama for everything. He knows what he's doing and he knows he can handle hundreds of issues at once.

You didn't even acknowledge that Obama one already appropriated money to Flint Water Crisis that was caused by Republicans in the state being penny wise and pound foolish. I'm the one who brought up the issue quite awhile ago. Where were you? Why weren't you calling for the governor of Michigan to find money to fix the problem he created? What happened to Republican self sufficiency? Why does flint Michigan need the big bad federal government? Who you vote for really does have real consequences. The state should allocated money to fix the problem on their own. Don't be digging into the deep pockets of NY and California when you need a bail out for voting for a Republican who thinks drinking lead water is acceptable.

Okay so? These bills are discriminatory, and asking women/young girls what they think? Trans women/girls ARE WOMEN and GIRLS. Trans men/boys ARE MEN and BOYS.

LGBT individuals make up less than 5% of the population. So that still means gays shouldn't marry, be discriminated against, or subjected to hate crimes? Okay and let's not forget those Jews. That 1.4% means nothing!

since when have transgender people been .01% of the population? actually, the most recent study i saw said .30%, so even by that statistic you're way off, but also very few transgender people would be honest on a poll because of the likelihood of them facing discrimination if they get outed.

ok, but if you're saying this, the burden of proof is on you. what evidence do you have that this presents a significant risk towards women? and no, just saying "common sense" or whatever doesn't count. i want legitimate statistics that there's any significant level of women being hurt by this. no, a single case or two isn't good enough.

actually, part of the reason i don't understand this logic is that gay men and lesbian women go into bathrooms with the same gender all the time yet predation doesn't happen very often. or does sexual harassment only count when it's from a man to a woman? because men just can't control themselves or whatever? please.
